A formal request for quotation should include quantities, type of metal required, casting weight and special items such as annealing or stress relief, certification information, payment terms, shipping instructions, and any special packaging requirements.
* Provide a clear set of blueprints or CAD files.
This document should include where the Brinell readings are taken on the casting, as well as tool points, required parting lines and draft angles, and tolerances for angles, radii, and dimensions.
